Inter-Faternity Track Meet Dates Set For March 24 25
The Inter-Fraternity Track Meet will be held March 24 and 25 on the university athletic field. Field events and trial heats start Monday with finals and running events on Tuesday including high jump broad jump and pole vault. Eligible are all fraternities except Freshman track numeral holders and varsity first or second place finishers. Each fraternity may enter two in field events and three in running events.
Forensic Council to Sponsor Declamation Meet at U V A
The Forensic Council of Richmond College will sponsor a declamation contest at the University of Virginia campus on Friday April 4. Virginia high and preparatory schools are expected to attend with nearly twenty schools represented. P W Boatwright announced a medal will be awarded to the best declaimer.

Dr Negus Lectures Today on Chemistry

Wild Duck to be staged by University Players on April 4

Journal-Arts Club Discusses Modern Literature and Painting
The Journal-Arts Club hosted a profitable Sunday session at Professor Handy's home starting 5 30 pm. Miss Lou Belle Jones read from The Woman of Andros by Thornton Wilder and discussed Wilder's life and writings. Mr Quarles spoke on modern poetry while Miss Teresa Polalek presented art and rhetoric linking painting and literature. Other members joined in lively debates about literature and art.
