Thomas P. Ayer city librarian will speak at convocation today. He heads Richmond Public Library since 1924. Native of New Hampshire, he earned a modorgraduate degree at Brown and studied at Illinois Library School. He served at Brown University Library Providence Athenaeum and tutored at Columbia University Library and Library of Congress.

University Players elect ten new members for dramatic group
Ten were elected to membership in the University Players at the last meeting, five boys and five girls, including Ed Canada Margaret Carpenter Hilda Kirby Al Maner Helene Miller Harold Phillips Augusta Straus Henry Saeings Eli Troutner and Monroe Wells. Casting for The Enemy the spring play set for April 8 at the University Playhouse has been completed with rehearsals daily. The action takes place in Vienna during 1914 to 1919 with four acts written by Channing Pollock. President Griffin Garnett outlined plans for a publicity drive to make the campus war conscious before the production.

Glee Club Plans Tidewater Concert Tour
The Richmond College Glee Club will travel to Portsmouth on March 16 for concerts at Parkview Baptist Church and a sacred program that evening. Leader Fred Laughan says the group will tour Norfolk Navy Yards the next day before returning to Richmond Monday afternoon.
