University Band to Join Mary Washington for Fredericksburg Concert
The University of Richmond Band directed by Mark Troxell will travel to Fredericksburg on April 3 for a joint concert with Mary Washington College's all girl band. About 40 musicians will ride a chartered bus, attend a dance at Mary Washington Gym, and return the same night. Proceeds fund new uniforms.

Harris Wins University Of Richmond Oratorical Contest

UK Debaters Take Honors At South Atlantic Meet
Betty Graham won Women's Poetry Reading and Charles Harvey top honors in Men's Problem Solving at the South Atlantic Debate Tournament held last weekend in Hickory North Carolina. Wake Forest and the University of Florida tied for first. Richmond pair John Chamberlayne and Charles Harvey posted a 3 of 5 record.
