University Head Approves Sunday Sports Privileges
President F. W. Boatwright announced that Richmond College will permit Sunday sports this spring with restrictions. Activities include boating handball and tennis from 2 to 6 p m. Participants must be properly clothed with full length pants and shirts. shorts are banned on all courts and campus areas. The Board of Trustees approved the plan contingent on these rules, following pressure from dormitory students and the outgoing student government led by Richard Poage.

Richmond College Glee Club Cast Named for Romeo and Juliet
The Richmond College Glee Club selects double roles for the burlesque operetta Romeo and Juliet. Cast includes Fred Laughan as Romeo and Frank Nunnally as Juliet with George Harper as the apothecary and Ray Lanier as the nurse. Luther H. Jenkins a Richmond publisher and civic figure died of a heart attack last Friday at his office. Funeral services were held Sunday at his residence with Rev Solon B Cousing officiating. Honorary pallbearers included Governor Peery ex governor Pollard and ex governor E Lee Trinkle. Born February 21 1850 in Fredericksburg he moved to Richmond after Civil War times and built the Jenkins publishing house.
