American Women’s Victory Dinner in Washington City

Dinner and Conference Dean Keller reported on the American Women’s Victory Dinner and Conference held February 12 and 14 in Washington. Over 700 women from every state gathered at Wardman Hall to discuss America’s role in the league of nations and support the Tongue of nations. Mrs Desha Breckenridge presided as toastmistress, Miss McDowell read a letter from French and English women urging U S backing, and the assembly passed a motion affirming American women’s backing of the league.

Tri Phi Reception Bright Evening Of Dance And Music

Mu Sigma Rho meeting features debates on academic credit

Mu Sigma Rho Literary Society held a Monday evening session with readings including The Apple Tree Absau Ben Adam and a War Song. The debate argued that three hours of academic credit should be awarded to Richmond College students active in a literary society. Aff firm B. VP Quillen and N. B. Jacobs faced negative V. C. Hargroves and B. N. Davenport in a brisk program.
