Junior Senior Weekend To Feature Music and Variety
Eddie Allen and his 10 piece band will perform during the Junior Senior Weekend on March 13 14 at Richmond area venues. The Mac Wells Quintet will headline the Senior Prom with jazz concerts at nearby colleges and dances in Richmond hotels. The Jeters, five Richmond College students, will close with a half hour Saturday Kelley Hall concert. Tickets are on sale from Westhampton students. a $6 50 combined pass covers all events.

IFC Defeats Increase In Requirements
The proposed amendment to the IFC constitution to require a minimum average of .900 from each fraternity was defeated 8-4 at the council meeting. Four chapters supported the change while objections ranged from concerns about manipulation of averages to potential off campus private parties.

This spring seniors will join a senior testing program using area and advanced parts of the Graduate Record Examination. The test covers social science humanities natural science for area results and major field knowledge for the advanced section. Advance registration is required with faculty adviser approval for June or August 1959 graduates.

Alan Burgess, a junior, is the new president of the Richmond College student government. He defeated Chris Sizemore, with close to 600 voters casting ballots, as All-Campus Party swept offices. John Sullivan won vice president. Dick Spain and Barry Robertson led secretary and other posts.
