A musical program at the Red Cross Building tonight at 8 30 features Miss Alberta Powell soprano Ma dame Sascha Thieleker Swedish cellist and Miss Mayia McCausland pianist. Peterson to Lead Spider Basketeers in 1928
Herbert Peterson, star forward of the Spider quint, was named captain of the 1928 basketball team at a varsity meeting in Roger Millhiser Gym. A Richmond native and John Marshall alumnus, he has led the state in scoring for two straight seasons, with 226 points in 1926 and 221 in the recent year.

Sibold elected president of local student government
R N Sibold was elected president of the Student Government Association at the annual balloting held last Tuesday in the faculty room. The close contest with Robert W Edwards kept results in doubt until votes were counted. Sibold, from Roanoke Virginia, rose from Freshman class president to Senate representative and athletics vice president, with roles in University Players and Dramatic Club. Four others were chosen as Senator-at-large from sixteen candidates.
