Westhampton College Elects Seven Government Officers
Westhampton College students will vote to elect seven College Government officers on Monday. Presidential candidates are Carolyn Moss and Nancy Goodwyn, with barbara Bloodgood and Jane Freed contesting the vice presidency. Secretary and treasurer nominees include Nancy Race Taylor and Jane Horton among others. dorm and South Court posts also up for grabs. Voting runs 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Keller Hall foyer and the reading room area. Glass percentages will be taken.

KA Rose Ball to Honor Chapter Rose at John Marshall Roof Garden
The Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order hosts its Rose Ball on March 2, 1957 from 9 to 12 at the Roof Garden of the Hotel John Marshall. The Chapter’s Rose will be honored. The Richmond KA Alumni hold the previous night’s Alumni Party at the Country Club of Virginia with social hour dinner and dance.

Friday Fire Traced to Jeter Hall Basement Smoke
Smoke from cigarette trash ignited the CG section basement of Jeter Hall awakening Richmond College men. Fire crews arrived shortly after 8 AM and extinguished the blaze with no damage beyond a smoke smell lingering.

Westhampton freshmen present a 1960 Blue Door show in Keller Hall this afternoon at 4 30. Sandy Strang leads a student cast with Betsy Gathings and Shirley Satterfield in charge of the project. A full crew handles script music programs costumes properties tickets set publicity and food with cokes cookies and candy promised to attendees and an old piano likely to accompany.
