A student privacy motion drafts tighter entry rules requiring a university search certificate or state warrant before opening rooms, lockers, offices, or possessions. Six specific entry reasons, three day notices for scheduled maintenance, and reviews by Deans and multiple university offices precede any board action.
The CURRICULUM REPORT, a four year project, was completed by the University of Richmond Curriculum Committee. The 72 page document appears in full from page seven to page thirteen.
The Richmond College Student Government Association passes a revised constitution after a 46 minute debate. A referendum is required for it to take effect, with no date set. Changes include increased dormitory council influence and an internal reorganization of the executive branch into four vice presidents.
The UR Resolver will debut January 29 as a weekly Collegian feature inviting University of Richmond readers to submit questions. Questions may be mailed or left at Barracks E 207. only initials will be used and identities kept confidential. The deadline is the Monday before the Thursday issue.
The University of Richmond Curriculum Committee released a 73 page report after over four years of work. Three public hearings are scheduled: Jan 27 at 4 p.m. and Feb 17 at 4 p.m. in Keller Hall with a Feb 3 meeting at 7 p.m. in Keller Hall.
