Five Richmond area cadets have been selected for Regular Army Commissions. Edmund M. Bishop and Frank L. Monfalcone, both Richmond College students, join Thomas L. Berry Joseph H. Nolte and Harry B. Fentress from the School of Business. All are Distinguished Military Students and Scabbard and Blade members. Bishop and Monfalcone enter different branches with Bishop in Infantry and Monfalcone in Transportation Corps. Berry in Artillery. Nolte in Quartermaster Corps. Fentress in Transportation Corps. Commissioning requires medical and security clearances with Presidential nomination and Senate confirmation.
