Army Reserves to be Called Next Semester Students to Return to College Under Draft
Army Enlisted Reserve plans call for most students to enter active duty next term with several hundred deferred classes. Naval enlistees may stay in college and continue studies. The government is selecting 160 schools for military student programs, with Richmond College hoped to be among them. NYA Raises Pay for University of Richmond Students
NYA increased student wages at the University of Richmond from 80 cents to 40 cents per hour effective with the next time cards covering December 16 to January 15. The monthly cap remains 25 dollars, up from 20. There are 63 NYA workers, with vacancies expected next semester. students nearing earnings limits should see Business Manager Robert Stone for reappointment.
