Virginia Epsilon Chapter announces twelve University of Richmond undergraduates named Phi Beta Kappa in the third election since the 1929 installation. Seven hailed from Richmond College and five from Westhampton College led by William Hoke Berry and George Mallory Freeman.

On Monday morning the four class groups begin their first meeting of the second semester replacing the regular Student Government gathering. George Cox will lead the Sophomore Class in Charlie Phaup's absence with rooms assigned for each year group.

Morrissette Seeks Exit as 1931 Messenger Editor
Bruce Archer Morrissette tendered his resignation as editor of The Messenger to the Board of Publications this week. He said in an interview there is no place for an intelligent literary magazine at the University of Richmond. Henderson Kincheloe acted as editor in Morrissette's absence.

Richmond College Student Government Elections Next Tuesday
Student officers for the coming year will be elected March 3. Only students who paid the budget fee may vote. The ballot box will be in the Faculty Room on the first floor of the Administration Building. Polls open 9 AM to 3 PM.

Fulton Puppet Show Stages Cinderella March 7
Bobby Fulton and his string pulled company will exhibit on campus on March 7. The program draws from Jack and the Beanstalk and other tales with Cinderella chosen for the occasion. Italian marionettes about 15 inches tall are controlled from above by strings. The show features scenery music and lighting effects.

Institute on Current Problems Lectures Planned
The University of Richmond circle of Omicron Delta Kappa and the Westhampton Mortar Board plan a series titled The Institute on Current Problems. Richmond and Westhampton College faculty will lecture on issues like prohibition tariffs and political parties. A debate between Richmond and Temple on unemployment insurance may open the series.
