Richmond College Student Elections Scheduled for Tuesday
Student Government elections will be held Tuesday morning in the faculty room at Richmond College. Candidates must file by midnight Saturday with endorsement from three fee paying students and pay a portion of the budget fee. All students may vote. The Executive Committee will meet to decide compulsory budget fees for next year.

Dr Samuel C Mitchell Improves After Illness
As The Collegian goes to press the condition of Dr Samuel C Mitchell head of the history department at Richmond College is much improved and he is expected to recover soon from his month long illness. Mrs Alice Broaddus Mitchell said last Tuesday was his most comfortable day and the family is breathing easier. Students miss him and hope for an early return.

University of Richmond Trustees Hold Semi-Annual Meeting
Dr. F W Boatwright reports on the trustees meeting held at Murphy's Hotel. Attendance was strong with 1348 students enrolled including 198 in the summer session. Despite widespread financial strain, endowment interest defaults are not expected to cause losses. Richmond College enrollment tops prior years while the Law School and Hampton West hampton show small declines. Two new campus buildings a fraternity dormitory and a professor's residence were completed since the last meeting and campus telephone lines were upgraded.

Edward C Nininger resigns as editor in chief of The Collegian after four years due to heavy academic workload and pursuit of a master’s degree. Edwin Cohen named editor in chief and Ralph H Ferrell Jr appointed managing editor. new staff to take charge with the next issue. Fifteen Richmond Students Initiated Into Phi Beta Kappa
Initiation of fifteen candidates from Richmond and Westhampton Colleges into Phi Beta Kappa was held Tuesday night at 7 30 in the Trophy Room Millhiser Gymnasium by the Epsilon Chapter of the University of Richmond. The ceremony lasted about half an hour. A banquet followed on Wednesday at 7 o clock at the Westmoreland Club with the Richmond Alumni and Epsilon Chapters hosting. Alexander Weddell served as toast master. Initiates from the class of 1932 include Leonard Carmack Samuel Childress Clinton Clark William Garrett Herman Gross and Edward Peple.
