University of Richmonds senior class will stage Dover Road tomorrow at 8:15 PM in the Academy of Music. The local cast recently performed the production in Baltimore before a large audience, following a successful show at the Casualty Building on February 23.
Preliminaries for the northern tour set for March 3 in Room J of the administration building. Three men will be chosen to represent the University in debates against Western Maryland College Bucknell University and Rutgers University on dates in April. Each contestant has seven minutes to argue for or against the question United States Should Enter the League of Nations.
Dr. J. E. Hicks concludes a week long sermon series at Westhampton and Richmond Colleges. Students followed closely and benefited spiritually. He opened with a remark about dialog rather than preaching at the audience.
Warren B F Cuthrell, chairman of the Nominating Committee, lists nominees for Y M C A officers at Richmond College. Candidates include President J B Kincannon and W E Slaughter, Vice President J M Trim mer and W B Phillips, Secretary L J Flarmanson and L N Tharpe, Missions Secretary J W Kineheloe and W R Vaiden, Treasurer Lee Gaskins and A V Cosolaro. Nominations are for consideration at the next Y M C A meeting.
The University reports Dr S Mitchell head of History and Political Science fell ill last Friday and could not meet his classes for several days causing concern among students and faculty.
The Education Department at Richmond College begins a two hour weekly class on School Hygiene and Health Supervision at T. C. Williams School of Law. Open to students needing one hour in physical education for teacher certification or physical training credit. Over forty men expected to enroll over about fifteen weeks.
The University of Richmond Spiders face the Indians of William and Mary College in a 8:30 p m game at Milltner gym Tuesday night in a likely close contest. Richmond had beaten Indiana earlier in the season and is billed as strong for the curtain call of 1926.
The West Hampton College Student Government Association will hold its regular monthly meeting on the first Thursday afternoon next month instead of the first Friday morning as in the past year. The shift allows an open forum to discuss rules in the student handbook.
Westhampton College hosts morning watch services next week in observance of the Week of Prayer for Home Missions. A Thursday YW A meeting seeks speaker Miss Marie Buhlmaier, formerly a Baltimore port immigrant worker, to discuss Is America Christian.
Channing Wilson, class of 1925, now a graduate student in Chemistry, visited Johns Hopkins University campus over the past weekend. He is meeting routine requirements at the university in preparation for his research work.
University of Richmond Little Symphony Orchestra formed to perform at the Senior Play on Saturday February 27 at 8 15 PM at the Academy of Music in Richmond. J C Swanson will direct with a program of popular waltzes and classical numbers between acts. Personnel includes T Eugene West Elizabeth Taliaferro Virginia Pleasants Gandy Slaughter Curtis Slagle Phillips Swanson Buckley Hoshall Moore Nichols and others.

The Freshman plays cast and committee hosted a Thursday afternoon tea in the drawing room between five and six. Guests of honor were Miss Emily Brown and Mrs. R R Chappell.
Intense interest surrounds the Richmond College student elections next Tuesday from 9 to 3 in the faculty room. W Hiter Atkins Basil C Minter and Milton G Hitt have entered the race for president with campaigns in full swing. The election for student government president commands the most attention as three candidates vie for the post.
Fifteenth annual High School Declamation Contest to be held this afternoon at 3 o clock in the Richmond College auditorium. About fifteen schools are expected to participate. A gold medal awaits the first place winner. Judges include Mrs. Ralph Chappell HH B Trandy LL Dodds and D TH Rucker. Schools listed include Woollberry Forest Saint Christopher s Petersburg High Augusta Military Fork Union West Point and Roanoke High Schools.
John T. Wilson & Co. of Richmond won the contract to erect the chemical unit for the University of Richmond science hall. The bid of 121200 includes equipment and is the lowest among many bids. The building will be ready for use in 1926 27 with seven months construction.
