All Campus Party Lists Reform Planks Outline Platform
The Student All Campus Party released its seven point platform with independent Ken Elsea challenging the fraternity slate. Richard Cline will replace Brian Janney as Senate candidate. Petitions must be filed by Sunday with SGA president Charles Poston or VP Don Casper. The plan targets parking, barracks, intramurals and SGA constitutional revisions to improve student governance and campus life.

Whitacre Wins Senate Seat in Local Special Election
David Whitacre, a Richmond College sophomore from Winchester, won the special election Tuesday to fill the senate seat vacated by Butch Hinton. He defeated Jay Feldman by 85 to 24 votes and recently joined Sigma Chi.
