Filing Dates Set for Richmond College Student Government

February 26 is the last day for notices of candidacy for 1995-436 student government elections at Richmond College. The election will be on Tuesday March 6, covering eleven offices including four senators at large and three athletic association leaders.

University Sets Spring Dance Dates At Millhiser Gym

The University Social Committee approves March 22 and 23 for a Spring Dance in Millhiser gym. After prior delays and gym-use conflicts with the Student Senate, planners finalize dates and seek an orchestra, considering Dan Gregory and Jimmy Pointer. Tickets will be two dollars to boost attendance.

Phoenix Group Elects Members at February Meeting

The Phoenix Society elected eight new members at its Thursday night meeting on February 14. Four new members are Richmond students Roy N. Puckett Edgar W. Ligon Harold H. Goodman and Emmett Luttrell. The Weathampton students are Otella Francis Alice Ryland Margaret Walker and Hazel Weaver.

VIPA Officials Meet Tomorrow in Richmond

A VIPA special meeting for editors and business managers of Virginia college weeklies is set for February 24 in Richmond. Alexander Hudgins will lead discussions on economic problems, NRA code inclusion, and ad placement issues between College Publishers Incorporated and National Advertising Incorporated. Freund Sets March 16 Deadline for Annual Subscriptions

McDanel Receives GE Board Fellowship for Law Study

Dr. R. McDanel, professor of American History and Political Science, wins a General Education Board fellowship to study International Law for a year at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.
