Richmond College Dean Reports Semesters Best in Scholastics
The Dean of Richmond College announces the first semester was the most successful in history for scholastics. Seventy four students earned the Dean's List with at least 33 quality credits and no grade below C, eight achieving all A's.

Local delegates attend Y M C A faculty student conference
P L Peterson of Richmod College Y M C A was named to the Executive Committee of the State Student Council at the annual Y M C A Faculty Student Conference held at Washington and Lee University January 14 through 16. Richmond delegates Edward Overton and Jack Byrne joined H B Robinson on the trip to Lexington. The conference drew 145 faculty and student delegates.

Will Honor Washington at Alexandria February 22 Parade
Thousands of Virginians are expected to journey to Alexandria on Saturday February 22 when the George Washington Birthday Association will stage a grand parade. Major General Fred W Sladen will serve as Grand Marshal after a career spanning the Spanish American War Philippine Insurrection World War and leadership of the Army Occupation First Brigade. He is noted as Superintendent of the United States Military Academy in 1922 and now commands the Third Army Corps Area. Railroads offer special rates for trips departing February 21 returning February 23 with one way or round trip fares.

Harlequin Group Plans Second Dance of the Season

The annual student government elections will be held Tuesday March 4. Candidacy statements must be in to Secretary Jos R B Robison by February 24 at midnight. Robison is in D 6 Thomas Hall and will provide a receptacle for filings while away.

Miss Woodfin Hosts Sophomore Class Valentine Party
Miss Maude El. Woodfin sponsor of the class of 1932 hosted a Valentine party Monday afternoon. About thirty sophomore girls attended and each received a red or gold heart with a pencil to write a valentine wish for Westhampton. Judges later selected the twelve best compositions while Miss Helen Le Grande and Miss Marion McGintry sang.

History of the University of Richmond Centenary
