Former Richmond professor and athletic manager dies at 62

William Fred Gaylor, 62, a former associate professor of Spanish at the University of Richmond, also served as athletic business manager and assistant athletic director. He joined in 1998 and retired in July. He held degrees from Mercer University and studied at the University of Mexico and University of Madrid. He was a long-time IFC secretary-treasurer and member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Phi Delta Theta.

Bulls Appointed 1965 Web Business Manager

Bob Bulls, a senior in the School of Business Administration, is named business manager of the Web by the Board of Publications. He is president of the Thomas Economics Society and a Phi Delta Theta member. He urges organizations to remit space checks by March 1. mail to Web Box 476. Contracts are not used this year due to late appointment.

Students debate U.S. role in Viet Nam forum at Richmond

University of Richmond plans a March 1 forum on The United States has no business in Viet Nam. Students may audition four to six minute arguments at 150 pan in room 226 on Monday. Organizers include Professor Alton Williams Professor Jerry Tarver and students from Richmond and We at hampton colleges.

Shakespeare Expert Dr Bernard Grebanier to Speak at Local Schools

Dr Bernard Grebanier, authority on Shakespeare, will lecture in Dennis Auditorium at 9 50 am next Friday on A Measure of Shakespeare as Poet and Dramatis. He is Brooklyn College English professor and editor of the Living Shakespeare Recordings. His books include The Heart of Hamlet and The Truth about Shylock. He will tour colleges statewide. At 3 00 pm February 26 he speaks at RPL on Shakespeare's Women.

Westhampton College Synchronized Show Splashs Color on Deck

Westhampton College synchronized swimmers present Splashes from the Paintbox an artful water show directed by Miss Nancy K. Mitchell. The 8:15 p.m. performance next Friday features color themed numbers with Mary Catherine Ware Diane Byers and others performing choreographed routines. A Wednesday dress rehearsal at 8:00 p.m. welcomes students and the public with a no admission fee.
