Y M C A Social Evening Delights Westhampton and Richmond
The Y M C A held its winter term Social Evening with guests from Westhampton College and Richmond Woman's College. Music by Mike Weaver and a quartet thrilled the audience with encores, followed by refreshments and a candy prize for the prettiest girl awarded to Miss May Seller. Dr. Young spoke on the Y M C A as a social institution, and Dr. McDaniel is slated to address next week.

Spiders Fall to Yellow Jackets in Ashland Clash
Randolph Macon Yellow Jackets defeated the Spiders 238 to 12 in Ashland. The fast-paced game featured sharp passing and long-range shooting led by Wiley Wood and Captain Leubbert, while John Logan struggled to gain position. Richmond College and the Loonies later battled to a 22 to 17 victory for the Yellow Jackets.

Last Friday evening the Philologian Society held a program with an oration by J. T. Coburn and readings. The debate on the ship purchase bill ended with a unanimous passage.
