Anne Plunkett Chosen May Queen at Westhampton Festivities
Starry-eyed Anne Plunkett will reign as Queen of the May at Westhampton on May 5 with Helen Clark as Maid of Honor. They were elected by the senior class from 12 seniors on the May Court. Seven Court members seek Web Beauty, including Bobbie Lee Brown and Elizabeth McRae among others. three more join the Court: Charlotte Houchins, Jocelyn Hyde, and Rose Sellen. Plunkett, a Richmond local, holds Mortar Board membership and active roles in Eta Sigma Phi and the YWCA.

ROTC Plans and Eligibility Aired at University of Richmond
The university prepares to host a Transportation Corps ROTC unit with a May 1 arrival and a September start. President Modlin hopes for a quota of 300, with exempt status from the draft for those within the quota. Eligible are physically fit freshmen, current freshmen and sophomores with prior ROTC or World War II service, and others may apply. Some excess applicants may enroll in military science for college credit and may be commissioned after four years. Those within quota receive about 27 dollars monthly for two years of advanced training. Continued on page 6.

Valentine Dance Set for Tonight at Keller Hall
The Harlequin Club hosts a Valentine Dance tonight at 8 30 p m in Keller Hall with an informal program and a local band.
