Bruce Bubbles Baker and his orchestra will perform at the last Mid Winter dances on February 17 from 4 to 6 and 9 to 12. He has played at Dartmouth Colgate Temple Wellsley UNC NC State USC Sweet Briar Presbyterian, and has NBC broadcasts from New Kenmore Albany. Guests include the Andrews sisters and Gene Krupa. Tickets: 1.25 night 0.60 tea for subscribers. 2.00 night 0.75 tea for non subscribers.

Clyde Y. Cridlin of Jonesville Virginia and Ross S. Gibson and J. W. Pearsall of Richmond were named to the Grievance Committee of the University of Richmond Law School Student Bar Association by William Goode. University of Richmond students won a bid from Fred Waring to write and perform a new song for their Chesterfield Program on April 5 at 7 00 P M The Telegram to Bill ReMine confirms the plan and the effort included 900 post cards sent to Waring with support from student bodies and the Mitchell Literary Society.

A Westhampton square dance tonight from 8:30 to midnight in the gym, sponsored by the sophomore class Ionian Music Club Folk Balladry class and Alumnae Association. Funds raised will buy a piano for the Activities Building drawing room. Director Mrs Annabell Morris Buchanan notes dances are traditional English forebears not hill billy. Virginia musicians led by J W Spangler from Patrick County provide the music, known for White Top Music Festival reputation.

Freshman Sophomore Dance Tentatively Slated for March 1
March 1 has been tentatively set as the Freshman Sophomore Dance date in Millhiser gymnasium. Dancing runs from 9 p m to 1 a m with an unnamed orchestra to be selected soon. Dick Klafsky now chairs the ticket committee replacing Derek Hayley. Tickets cost 75 cents in advance and 90 cents at the door.

Largest Group Ever Tapped At Richmond
Nineteen students and one alumnus were elected to Phi Beta Kappa at the Epsilon Chapter in Virginia. Thirteen Richmond College seniors and six Westhampton College seniors were honored, with Curtis W.
