Virginia Epsilon Chapter charter members unveil residence based eligibility rules for election to Phi Beta Kappa. Collegiate candidates for BA or BS must average 90 or above, have residence since sophomore year, and be within one tenth of their class from Richmond and Westhampton Colleges. Advanced standing cases may suspend residence rule by unanimous council vote.

The Virginia Intercollegiate Press Men gather today and tomorrow as Pi Delta Epsilon sponsors the event. The local chapter, founded by Cary White and Francis Taylor, began as the University Press Club and was granted petition in September 1926. The University of Richmond Chapter was installed November 26 at Murphy's Hotel.

Trustees Honor Three Alumni With Honorary Degrees
In a semi annual meeting last Friday at the Richmond Hotel the University of Richmond Board of Trustees voted to confer three honorary degrees. Richmond businessman William T Reed will receive a doctor of laws while Rev Charles G McDaniel and Rev J P McCabe both receive doctor of divinity degrees. Reed cited for civic leadership and state government work. McDaniel a Richmond College and seminary graduate and long time missionary to China.
