Seniors Sign Brad Hunt To Lead Spring Ball
Brad Hunt and his Huntsmen will perform at the Senior Black and White Ball on February 28 as announced by Earl Fox president of the Senior Class. The cooperative Pittsburgh based group features megaphone clarinet work and muted brass with Jeannie Regal and Billy Carmichale as vocalists. The event includes a grand march at 9 pm led by Hart Fox and the sponsor, with decorations coordinated by a committee including Charles Ferneyhough and George Shackelford. Tickets cost 1.00 in advance or 1.25 at the door.

Booing Contest at Richmond Ends Thursday
The Collegian announces a "to boo or not to boo" essay contest open to University of Richmond students. Prizes total 10 dollars, with $8 for first place and $2 for second, for letters supporting or opposing heckling at basketball games. Letters capped at 300 words and will be printed in a future Collegian.

Westhampton seniors to represent at IRC conference
Elsie Vernon Satterwhite and Martha Lillian Beam will represent Westhampton College at the Southern Regional Conference of International Relations Clubs in Tallahassee Florida from February 28 through March 1. The Carnegie Endowment for World Peace sponsors the event providing speakers a banquet and a dance. The meeting will discuss British and German imperialism Japanese imperialism in the East Pan American relations and democracy’s role in the future.

Frosh Soph Dance Set For March 18 In Millhiser Gym
The annual Freshman Sophomore dance is set for March 18 in Millhiser Gym. Dick Owen chairs the dance committee with Lester Lavyne on floor decorations Edge Wheeler on decorations John Decker on publicity and Harry Snead on orchestra. The ticket committee will include one man from each fraternity plus five non fraternity men yet to be chosen. Snead says band contract talks are not complete and the orchestra name will be announced next. Last year the classes of 42 and 48 celebrated Richmond College charter centennial at the dance.
