A chapel program on Wednesday February 6 featured Billy and Rody who drew a large crowd with humor and trombone music. Mr. Rodeheaver, back from overseas service with the Red Triangle Association, entertained with jokes and musical numbers as Rev Sunday and cheerleaders joined in the sing along.

After a rough year practice and exhibition gaps hindered form but Captain Mottley and four teammates head into tomorrow’s game determined to redeem the season. Two games remain before the championship and the squad aims to rally student support.
The Virginia Inter-Collegiate Athletic Association met January 17 at the Jefferson Hotel. Dr. Carpenter of Roanoke College was elected president, with Dr. Handy retiring. A spring tennis meet in Richmond was approved, to be held on the first or second Saturday in May depending on the track meet schedule at VPI. The group also considered intramural athletics and rules for eligibility in basketball and baseball.
