Seventeen Elected To Phi Beta Kappa At Richmond
Clarence Little eminent biologist and educator will deliver the Phi Beta Kappa address at the Honors Convocation on March 6. Seventeen undergraduates and four alumni from the University of Richmond are elected Phi Beta Kappa. The program will list members of other campus honorary groups and note intermediate honors for those averaging B in the first two years. Dr. Little, head of Roscoe B. Jackson Memorial Laboratory, is to be introduced by President Boatwright with Rabbi Calish delivering the invocation.

Phi Delta Theta to reestablish Virginia chapter in 1875 legacy saga
Phi Delta Theta plans to reestablish a long defunct Virginia Delta Chapter at the University of Richmond with installation on February 17 and 18. Harold Ickes and Justice James McReynolds are invited among other prominent members for the ceremony beginning at 10 o'clock Friday morning. the chapter replaces Phi Delta Omega, marked by a favorable petition at the group’s Old Point Comfort convention.
