Preliminary Trials for WM and Mary Debate March 7
Four students vie in a March 7 tryout at 3 00 P M in Room 1 Administration Building for the William and Mary College debate on uniform marriage and divorce laws. Two will form the negative team traveling to Williamsburg the others defend the affirmative at home. Faculty judges oversee the event with the April 27 dual debate date set.

Mrs Grove Hosts Senior Class Tea at Hampton Drawing Room
Mrs Grove entertained the senior class with a cozy tea on Wednesday February 1 in the Westhampton Drawing Room. Faculty members joined the event and Sophomore Class members served refreshments including tea sandwiches small cakes and candies.
Alpha Delta Fraternity Receives Faculty Recognition
Alpha Delta, a ministerial club on the campus, is now recognized as a regular professional fraternity after a faculty meeting. The official grant with privileges and restrictions is being drafted. The group organized in April 1923 and has long operated from its basement headquarters in Jeter, B section.

Freshman Editorial Contest Closes February 15
Richmond College freshmen compete in the Pi Delta Epsilon sponsored contest. Manuscripts must be turned in at the Library Desk by next Wednesday and the winning editorial will appear in The Collegian on February 24. Each paper may be up to four hundred words and topics on campus life are preferred.

Mu Sigs Present Notable Program Of Debate And Recitals
Mu Sigma Rho Literary Society heard a varied program last Monday evening featuring a debate on the Semester System versus the Three Term System with Richmond College credentials. Paul Peterson and D. R. Hepler upheld the affirmative, R. J. Booth and Jos. Nettles argued the negative, with Hepler named best speaker. Herman Dixon declaimed Gloster on His Wooing of Lady Ann from Shakespeare, O. B. Mylum gave a humorous set of jokes and two vocal selections, while Perry R. Stubbs advised Mylum to focus on spoken pieces until he joins the Glee Club. The program committee led by W. B. Watson announced plans for the next meeting.

Glee Club to Broadcast on WRVA Radio Evening Program
Richmond College Glee Club will air an hour long program on station WRVA from ten to eleven on February 24. The concert includes the twenty voice club and quartette numbers with new pieces likely. The group previously performed on air in 1926 27 to strong applause. Next appearance is in early March at Westhampton High School.
