The Richmond College Glee Club will present a concert at West Point Virginia on Friday February 27 featuring selections such as Up With the Jolly Roger John Peel Lullaby and Rolling Down to Rio. A double quartet will also perform several numbers with a program noted for dreamlike rhythm and varied styles.

Matias Cuadra visited the campus last Monday and Tuesday representing the Student Volunteer Movement. A native of the Sinsi Sulu Archipelago, Philippines, he is a Christian convert educated in American schools. He earned an A. M. from Teachers College Columbia and an ST.M. from Union Theological Seminary as traveling secretary of the Student Volunteer Union.

Westhampton Formal Dance Opens Semester with Prom
Westhampton students kick off the new semester with a mid winter prom at the Country Club of Virginia from 9 to 12. The Junior Class sponsors the event featuring the Club Southern Orchestra. All Westhampton women and alumnae are invited. Nonstudents must register at the Dean's office. Proceeds go to the Woman's Building Fund. A semi formal supper dance hosted by the Senior class rounds out the weekend.

Death of University of Richmond Junior B B Berliant
B B Berliant, junior at the University of Richmond, died Saturday after a yearlong illness. A spine tumor led to surgery in New York. initial signs of recovery were followed by fatal developments. He was the son of Rev Albert Berliant of 216 North Twentieth Street and had been a standout on the Dean’s list. Continued on Page 4.
