Trustees Honor Modlin For Great Contribution

The University Board of Trustees named the Fine Arts Building the George Matthews Modlin Fine Arts Center in ceremonies on Alumni Day to honor President George M. Modlin who will retire in June. The Mine Arts Building, completed in 1968, houses a 700-seat theater and studios for music and art.

Off-Campus Social Functions Approved by UK Board

The UK Board of Trustees adopted a Committee of Student Affairs recommendation allowing officially listed student organizations to hold off campus social events. Functions must be approved by the college dean or dean of students and follow college social regulations. If multiple divisions are involved, approvals are needed from each dean. Public functions require permission from the provost four weeks in advance.

Petitions Open for RC SGA Elections
