Richmond College Debating Team to Meet Duke on Labor Politics
Forensic artists from Richmond will defend the affirmative side of the question at a debated contest with Duke in Durham next Friday night. The Richmond team, led by Harry M. Herman A Stephan Stepanian and G Cary White will argue that organized labor should enter politics as a separate party. Herman a former Richmond student now at the T C Williams Law School has debated Furman NYU WVU and Bucknell. Critics and judges will be announced at the time of the contest.

At Richmond College a junior class meeting decided on a supper with the sister class at Westhampton dining room followed by a Spider Frolics theater party. Supper starts at 7 30 P M Friday with seats reserved at the minstrel show for attending juniors.

Discussion Highlights From the Y Groups
The Y discussion groups last week covered many topics. Debate on murder in battle concluded that a soldier would not be a murderer. Campus issues favored democracy and fellowship while calling for better student shop chapel program and co operation between schools. Swearing and cafeteria complaints were raised before Thursday night follow ups.
State Legislators Entertained by Alumni
The Richmond Chapter of the General Alumni Association of Richmond College hosted fourteen Virginia legislators at a Tuesday dinner in the college cafeteria. After informal discussions on alumni and university interests, attendees moved to the VPI University of Richmond game. The chapter plans fellowships to aid capable students lacking funds.

Library closes daily for 15 minutes to restock
Beginning Monday February 8 the library will close from 11 to 11 15 every day except Saturday to allow staff to check reserved shelves magazines tables and perform daily restocking. The fifteen minute interval was chosen as the best compromise to inconvenience fewer students.
Spider Frolics Tonight at Westhampton College
The 1926 Spider Frolics, staged by Richmond College talent, opens at 8 30 P M in the Red Cross building Westhampton College. A large cast led by R N Sibold L C Davis Sam Banks N Penzold will perform with songs jokes dances and novelties. A Charleston exhibition by A Spose and R Fleming tops the program.
