Books Chosen For RE Week By Committee
Four books have been selected for Religious Emphasis Week at Richmond College including Your Other Vocation Elton Trueblood and Campus Gods on Trial by Chad Walsh The choice supports the theme Maturing Through the Use of Books and will be displayed in the University Library Westhampton Reading Room and Keller Hall. Freshman orientation for the second semester was held January 28 at the Student Center with about fifty new students, the largest between semester enrollment since 1947 48.

Glee Club Records Album of Favorites
The Men's Glee Club of Richmond College announces a new ten song long playing album priced at 3.95. Albums are available in Richmond music stores and on campus and through Sam Stone Jeter Hall B-4 as well as West hampton and Richmond Colleges via club representatives. The sheet features a bound cover with club and director photos and tracks include religious works Negro spirituals and school songs with incidental solos by five numbers and the Varsitones quartet performing Win Win Win by Bernie Wayne.

Hodder Named Editor in Chief at Contentan
Kenneth L. Hodder, a Richmond College English major, becomes editor in chief of the Contentan succeeding Miss Joy Winstead. Hodder, active in campus publications since freshman year, was appointed by the University of Richmond Board of Publications last September. Winstead shifts to Westhampton College Editor.

Orchesis Presents An Evening of Dance Tonight
Orchesis Westhampton presents a modern dance program tonight at 8 in Keller Hall gym. Junior Orchesis opens with Children’s Games, followed by Senior Orchesis pieces The Mortgage or Coaxes Foiled Again Jazz Fantasy and The Newly weds of the Eiffel Tower with dances choreographed largely by the students under Mrs Frances Wessels direction. Tickets are 25 cents at the door.
