New Students Attend Orientation at Richmond College
An informal orientation for about 35 freshmen and transfers took place Friday evening January 27 in the Student Center Lounge. Wilbur Kersey led the session outlining the Student Government and officers, with Al Burke discussing the Honor System and signing the Honor Statute. Dean G J Gray explained the faculty adviser system and university life, followed by brief talks from student organization representatives.

Alumni Fund Drives Reach Record 1955 Total at Richmond Arena
More than 1700 alumni contributed 31 790 to the University Alumni Fund in 1955 a record year. Since 1947 contributions have grown from 17605 from 793 alumni to today 31 790 roughly equivalent to a 740 000 endowment at just over 4 percent. The funds provide ready cash for immediate use in the universitys expansion and development program.
