Benefit Concert in Richmond Chapels Glee Club Hosts
The Sabbath Glee Club directed by Joseph Matthews performs Negro spirituals at the University of Richmond auditorium this evening at 8 30 for the Woman's Building Fund of Westhampton College and St Stephen's Guild. Proceeds benefit the two groups with Dr Susan Lough and Miss Virginia Withers of Westhampton College overseeing the event.

Red Cross Water Carnival to Teach Aquatic Sports at Richmond
Leading swimming experts from Chicago and New York will join instructors from across the United States to teach swimming and diving at the University of Richmond lake during a water festival in late June. The National Red Cross plans a large Virginia event, with dormitories and facilities for delegates from Virginia and nearby states, plus participation by University of Richmond students and Richmond residents. Additional festival features and courses will be announced as plans progress.

Freshman Class Plans Social and Chapel Attendance
At a January 28 meeting the freshman class arranged a class social for Saturday night in the gymnasium to acquaint students from both lake sides. The class favored chapel attendance, with President Ferguson urging men to attend regularly to bolster the class’s standing. The banquet was discussed in relation to the event.
