Westhampton College Holds Annual Snowball Dance
The Westhampton College Athletic Association sponsors the Snowball in Keller Hall at 8 30 p m December 13 with Kenny Henderson and his orchestra. The gym is decorated as a Christmas scene with a fireplace tree and artificial snowball. Receiving line includes Virginia Herndon and Mary Bowles. Tickets cost 165 a couple 100 stag. Proceeds fund campus activities with various committees led by Jane Dens Emily Deitrick Peggy Stone Jane Sanford and Margaret Alexander.

Presidential Advisory Council To Act On University Problems
About 250 University fraternity men are expected to gather on campus to clear the lodge area of underbrush and debris. The drive aims to make lodge sites attractive like a park and spur construction with alumni and administration support. In a special Playhouse election at Richmond College the sophomore class chose William Rowe as secretary and Lawrence Wood as faculty sponsor. Rowe defeated Hansford Rowe by three votes, while Wood beat Professors Stevenson Walcott Halstead and Pierce in a 39 vote ballot.

President Modlin forms advisory council of student leaders
George F. Modlin and Clarence J. Gray met with thirteen student leaders in the Tower Room to form the Presidential Advisory Council. The Westhamp ton freshman class staged a December 10 talent show at the University Playhouse to benefit the WSSF drive. Flo Bethel emceed. Lea Thompson and Frances Allen led sketches and dance routines. Sue Pitts and Virginia Houser impersonated. Betsy Bethune performed a blackface monologue. Faculty services were auctioned for odd jobs, with profits added to the drive.
