Snow Ball Dance Planned Dec 13 at Keller Hall

The Westhampton College Athletic Association presents its annual Snow Ball on Saturday December 13 from 9 PM to midnight in Keller Hall. Tickets cost 1.75. Theme is Winter Fantasy with decorations and Mark Troxell's orchestra providing music. Chaperones include Miss Crenshaw and Mr. and Mrs. Wessells.

Richmond Spiders Earn AP All Big Six Defensive Honors

Richmond halfback Ed Elliott and linebacker John Garlick named to the Associated Press All Big Six Defensive Team for the 1952 season. Tackle Bill Thacker also earned second string defensive honors and Bob Sgro received honorable mention at guard. Elliott and Garlick praised for speed, awareness, and hard hitting. Thacker noted for drive and tackling power.

French Club Reorganizes on Campus

Richmond College House of Representatives moves quickly with two meetings in ten days. Local Churches to Organize Program To Train U. of R. Ministerial Students

Sixty five churches join in a program to provide University of Richmond ministerial students with clinical ministry training. The plan, sponsored by the University ministerial association and Richmond Minister's Conference, places students with pastors for hospital calls funerals weddings and church activities to build fellowship and tailor study for seminary work.

Upsilon Rho Accepted by IFC as Twelfth Fraternity

The IFC voted unanimously to admit Upsilon Rho as the twelfth member of the group. Upsilon Rho is a campus based local fraternity established this year. The IFC runs a toy seal drive and plans Help Week with Tom Pollard as pledge captain.

Forum Plans Program Umeko Kagawa to Speak at St. Giles

Umeko Kagawa daughter of Dr. Toyohiko Kagawa will speak at the St. Giles Presbyterian Church student forum Sunday December 7 at 6 p.m. She studies at the Presbyterian Training School in Richmond and previously attended a middle girls school and Kwansei Gakuin University Kobe where she led the University YWCA, worked in Kobe slums, and ran a girls club.
