Westhampton Wins Virginia Hockey Title Over Sweet Briar 8-2
Westhampton defeated Sweet Briar College 8 to 2 at Sweet Briar to clinch the Hockey Championship of Virginia. Strong Westhampton defense and fast Westhampton dribbling spelled the outcome as Sweet Briar’s Purcell Dickson Taylor and Smyth led the visitors. Daniels Johnson and Park stood out for Westhampton with precise passing dribbling and consistent goal work. The first goal came early as Sweet Briar surged forward but Westhampton repelled the attack and controlled the rest of the game.

Stevens Still in Serious Condition
A late bulletin from the hospital reports G. D. Stevens, a Richmond College senior and Ministerial Association president, is steadily improving after a Sunday night hit run. He and companion Miss Thelma Thorpe were struck while crossing West Broad Street, the driver having been arrested for reckless driving.

Virginia Biologists Hold Fall Meeting at Richmond Uni
President H E B Hayden of the Association of Virginia Biologists presided over the fall meeting on Wednesday November 28 1921 in Richmond University biology department. A number of papers were read and much constructive work done. It was announced the annual Biological Association meeting will be in Lynchburg in April.
Richmond Defeats William and Mary in Thanksgiving Classic
The University of Richmond eleven, dominant as a unit, defeated William and Mary 17 to 7 in the 1921 Thanksgiving Day gridiron classic at Boulevard Park. A large crowd witnessed the contest amid split fan support and two touchdowns credited to breaks, with Richmond clean victors despite those breaks.

County Fair Tonight at Red Cross Building
The Westhampton College W. C. A. plans a County Fair in the Red Cross Building Friday night December 2 to raise funds for sending delegates to Blue Ridge. It promises an old fashioned fair with cats popcorn and other treats plus stunts and Christmas gift sales. A Japanese tea room will offer tea and sandwiches served by kimono clad attendants.

Virginia Cavaliers win Modified Marathon with Richmond second
The University of Virginia Cross Country team won The Evening Disputch Modified Marathon for the second straight year, with Richmond finishing close behind. Individual winner A R Shands of Virginia posted 39 minutes 40 to 45 seconds over a six to seven mile course, followed by teammates Greene G K Shands and Bohannon. Richmond runners included Hite Deckle Ferguson J H Miller Snyder Brann Moore and Sadler. Spider's barriers claimed the second team title with 42 points.

State Hockey Champions Honored at Home Party
Westhampton's Varsity Hockey Team was entertained by Dr and Mrs Harris at their home on November 29. Guests included the team, substitutes, Coach Crenshaw and Dean Keller. It was one of many delightful parties showered on the victorious hockey players.
