Richmond College to elect 15 officers next Tuesday
Freshmen sophomores and juniors will vote May 2 in the Play House from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for 15 class officers one senator at large and review a proposed constitutional amendment granting the Senate power to join a university council with three fourths support.

Future Budgets Sought by SG at Richmond College
SG treasurer Lenny Hellerman and proxy Jim Payne said all campus organizations must submit proposed budgets to be eligible for next year’s appropriations by May 12. With expected lower enrollment, budgets will be stricter and must include current records or a full account of past disbursements.

Pre Matriculation Plan Announced For 1950-51 Session
Students planning to pre matriculate for the 1950 51 session should consult faculty advisors at once. They will fill blanks on the matriculation card and sketch a first semester course of study with a tentative class schedule. Pre matriculation is non final and final steps occur in September at gym entrance for card completion forms car registration and possible changes. If a major is chosen the student will be referred to the Department Chairman.
65 to Receive UA Law Degree
The largest law graduating class in the University history will be among about 400 total degree recipients at commencement on June 5. Professor Karl Nickerson Llewellyn of Columbia University Law School will speak, and roughly 65 LL B graduates join the outdoor ceremony at Luther H Jenkins Greek Theater.

Noted Alumni to Be Honored at Richmond June
Three University of Richmond alumni will receive honorary degrees at commencement on June 5. Dr. Allen Weir Freeman of Johns Hopkins will get Doctor of Science, joining Earnest L. Honts and Joseph R. Johnson who will receive Doctor of Divinity. Freeman, a 40 year public health veteran and former Johns Hopkins dean, is noted for his service in Ohio and Virginia health administrations and authoring epidemiology works.

Donald Wilson was removed as editor-in-chief of the Messenger University magazine for breach of contract in several particulars. Chester A. Beck was appointed editor-in-chief for the remainder of the college year after a board meeting led to the personnel shakeup.
