TWELVE HONORED BY ELECTION ALPHA PSI OMEGA
At the Alpha Psi Omega annual elections eleven students and one faculty professor joined the local chapter, bringing total members to seventeen. New student members include sophomores W. H. Berry and Charles Stokes and juniors Donald R. Mann Marion Jones E L Honts Al Simmons Louis Booth L N Bloomburg Jack J Scherer NL and J B Dailey. Honorary member Seay professor of economics and A W Harrison president of the senior class also noted. The chapter promotes high standards and cooperation with similar groups in dramatic work.

1929 Web Off Press By End of May
Loftus Walton announces the 1929 Web will be off the press in the latter part of May and available to students at that time. Editors have gathered material and sent it to Benson Printing Company in Nashville Tennessee for printing. Originality will be the main feature of this year's annual and four books are in progress.

International Relations Club Discusses Mexican Situation
The club met on April 9 to explore the Mexican situation with speakers Ruel Cairnes on The Recurring Rebellion and Walter Bennett on The Present Rebellion. They outlined causes and future developments and planned a future discussion on Inter Allied Debts with William Carter and Arthur Dance.

Richmond Debaters Defeat Carolinians in Conference
The University of Richmond affirmative team led by J. Leslie Hart and G. C. Henricksen lost to Mercer University by two to one on April 11 over the substitute for the jury system. The next night Richmond defeated Wake Forest College two to one on the same issue. On April 22 Ralph P. Johnson and R. Nevitt Sanford represented the university in a victorious Northern debate.

Student Government to Discuss Sport Managers

Westhampton College glee club traveled to Fredericksburg for a Federated Glee Clubs of Virginia contest. Competing schools included Harrisonburg State Teacher's College William and Mary College Fredericksburg State Teacher's College and William and Mary Extension School. Songs from The Songs of the Madonna were performed.

The University of Richmond Men's Glee Club opened a tour with a crowded Louisa High School auditorium appearance under the First Baptist Church Bible Class. Plans call for further programs in Orange Staunton and Harrisonburg with informal recitals in other Valley towns.

Albright Named Associate Professor at Richmond College

Next Friday night the Junior and Senior Classes will host their annual inter class dance at the University Club from 9 30 to 1 00.
