Westhampton Delegates Attend Southern Student Government Convention
Westhampton representatives Mildred Rucker and Josephine Williams, president and house president for 1920 21, attended the Southern Intercollegiate Association for Student Government convention April 7 9 at North Carolina College Greensboro North Carolina. Twenty nine leading women's colleges in the South sent one or two delegates to discuss common governance problems. The conference noted Westhampton distinct for its unusually high number of men and its freer handling of campus affairs.

Amendments to Student Government Constitution Proposed
The student senate proposes amendments to the Student Government Association constitution to be debated on April 16 and voted on April 28 1920. It defines hazing as a college regulation violation with suspension and outlines Ten Commandments guiding Freshmen behavior under college authorities.

Spiders Debate Dual Intercollegiate Championship
A large crowd attended the second intercollegiate debate of the season between William and Mary and Richmond College. The proposition favored a separate political party for laboring classes with W A Dickinson and Gunn of William and Mary against Honts and J R Johnson of Richmond College. The same night Richmond College argued the affirmative at William and Mary with J R Hite and W N Beeler, as Dr. Bryan introduced the speakers.

English Club Debate on Accuracy in English and Science
The Westhampton English Club met Monday in the drawing room. A debate on whether accuracy in English is more valuable than in science was won by the affirmative. Miss McLothlin and Miss Carver spoke for the affirmative. Miss Vaughan and Miss Cunningham argued the negative. Judge results favored the affirmative after a lengthy discussion.
