The Collegian reports plans for a two day gathering at the University of Richmond to engage Virginia high and prep schools in forming an interscholastic publication association. Dr Boatwright endorsed the plan and invitations will be issued later.
Members of the Writers' Club of Richmond and Westhampton Colleges met at Westhampton College drawing room to elect officers. Garst was unanimously chosen president Thelma Hill of Westhampton was elected vice president and Miss Wilkinson secretary treasurer. Constitution amendments were proposed and will be voted on at the next meeting.
Dave J. Satterfield Jr class of 1916 at T C Williams Law School announces candidacy for Commonwealth Attorney of Richmond. The record shows decisive handling of problems during 1913 to 1916 with a reputation for reliability and success in life’s battles.
William and Mary defeated the University of Richmond 8 to 4 in the season opener at Newport News. The game, marketed as a showcase of college baseball, began with high expectations but ended with Williamsburg taking the win.
Dr John W Cunliffe of Columbia University accepts invitation to speak at the April 22 23 banquet for college newspaper men and women bringing Southern Intercollegiate Newspaper Association plans closer. The Collegian ongoing outreach to papers from Maryland to Florida and Louisiana aims to confirm attendance and finalize the program.
Chi Eta Upsilon, formed in fall 1919 at the University of Richmond, was installed into Omicron Delta Kappa in a ceremony led by J. Carl Fisher, ODK General Secretary. The idea originated with students J. L. Lane, Sam Bowman, R. Alfred O'Brien, and faculty H. B. Handy and Frank M. Dobson.

The University of Chicago professor, born in North Carolina and linked to Randolph-Macon College, engaged students faculty and visitors with intimate remarks on the former president.
