Richardson records show fifty seven building permits issued
The Richardson Building Department issued 57 permits in early month for residences and other buildings. Thirty three permits are for new homes led by Princess Homes with nine for Greenwood Hills Addition No 8. Total permits value is 164,218 located on Loganwood Drive. Other builders include Centennial Construction with three permits for Briarcove and Larkspur Drives in Richardson East Addition No 5, Dal Mac Construction, B T Erwin, J F Pruitt, and L J M Enterprises. Commercial permits include D K Jones Saw Shop, J P Pittman warehouse, Green Construction gun shop, plus 11 nonhousekeeping or nonresidential alterations totaling 35,604 and nine additions valued 20,203.

Absentee turnout sets county record in Dallas primary runoff
Dallas County reports 4,011 absentee votes for governor in Democratic primary runoff the highest in county history. County Clerk Tom Ellis notes strong interest in Place 4 race with 963 absentee ballots while predicting 125,000 governor votes on Saturday. Out of town voters add 400 ballots, totaling 4,411 in the runoff.
