Richardson Independent School District announces a broad summer program with remedial and enrichment courses. Elementary enrollment runs Tuesday to Thursday 8 am to 4 pm at the Administration Building. junior and senior high enrollments continue at individual schools through May 31 and June at Richardson High and Lake Highlands High.

Summer driver education preregistration drives enrollment surge
Courses cost forty dollars for tuition about two dollars and fifty cents for insurance and about eighteen for field trip housing. Classes meet at Lake Highlands High School with field trips planned to East Texas Woodlands Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge and other sites in Texas including the Gulf Coast Lake Ray Hubbard Elm Fork Nature Trail and areas in Tarrant and Dallas counties. Over 1,100 students have enrolled since February and all sections are full with many alternates. Pre-registration closed May 10 but later registration may be allowed if the class limit is not reached. For more information contact the Director of Special Programs in Richardson.
