In the first quarter of 1968 Dallas County sold 7,191,497 in United States Savings Bonds. The county aims for 25,000,000 for 1968 and has reached 29 percent. Texas March sales totaled 14,174,187, up 8 percent from 1967, with 45,978,599 for the quarter and 25 percent of the 184.5 million state goal achieved. National March sales of E and H Bonds and Freedom Shares reached 419 million, totaling 1,340 million for the quarter.
