Richardson ISD voters set 12 day absentee period on bond and trustee race
Absentee voting begins Monday for the Richardson Independent School District election on April 6. The ballot includes a $20 million bond proposal to fund new schools and libraries, with a 12 cent rate increase over three years. Contested seat is place 5 between Dr C A Richardson and R P Baxter. others run unopposed. The bond plan entails 6 percent interest and serial payments, with no expected rise in the 76.5 percent of market value assessment. Annual Revue by RHS Eaglettes Set for March 23
Richardson High School hosts the eighth annual Eaglette Revue titled All They've Got on March 23 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. About 50 performers from the precision drill team will present dance routines comedy skits and vocal numbers. The Richardson Bicycle Touring Club opens its new season with a 10 mile get acquainted ride this afternoon at 2 p.m. from the City Recreation Center. The first regular meeting follows Monday at 7 30 p.m. at the same venue with films of a New Braunfels ride. A breakfast ride is set for March 24 at 8 a.m. from the Recreation Center to a Preston Forest Shopping Center restaurant. All cyclists are invited.

RSI announces plans for new office and warehouse facility
Richardson Sports Inc. unveils a plan to build an office and warehouse at Apollo Road and Glenville Drive near Huffhines Park to consolidate storage for equipment for 1200 football players 1600 baseball players and 600 basketball players. Water officials inspect Richardson waste water plant
Water experts from Dallas and Cincinnati visited the Richardson waste water treatment plant for inspection and review of a new treatment process. City Water Superintendent Bob Derrington cited Dr. Robert Bunch and Edwin Barth from the Robert A.
