Stewart runs for Texas Senate District 16 in GOP bid
Richardson resident Robb Stewart announced his candidacy for the Texas State Senate District 16 seat. The 39 year old Dallas attorney is uncontested in the May 4 GOP Primary and will face the winner of the Mike McCool Jim Wade Democratic primary in November. Stewart is a former Richardson city councilman and active Republican with roles on the Greater Dallas Planning Council and the National Council on Crime and Delinquency. He holds SMU degrees in government and law, has military service as a Marine Corps legal officer, and lists wife Milly and children Abby Robb and Duff as residents at 117 North Lois Lane, First Presbyterian Church members.
