The Richardson Independent School District board passed a resolution granting a $3,000 homestead exemption for residents 65 and older after a favorable 31,947 to 9,836 vote. The district plans a $22,000,000 bond issue for four elementary schools, two junior highs, expansions, sites, and equipment, with retirement possible by 1992. Also approved textbook adoptions, continuing contracts, delinquent tax collection, and the 1973-74 calendar. next meeting April 16.
