The Pet Show will be the 3 p.m. feature of Richardson’s Fourth of July festivities with contests for dogs cats birds reptiles and amphibians plus an I’m a little different category. Registration starts at 3 p.m. and judging follows with prizes for best in each category and a 4 30 p.m. awards ceremony during the park picnic.

Police investigate burglary reports in Richardson
Richardson police Tuesday investigated several burglaries including three with large property losses and bicycle thefts from the city bike pound. About $870 allegedly removed from a business at 2500 N Armstrong owned by Larde Building Co of Terrell. A Brake-O store burglary at 342 S Central saw $328.50 loss from a broken window entry. A vehicle in Lookout Dr saw $181 missing. At least seven bicycles reported missing after police inventory. Offense reports filed.
