Rocking chair marathon at Richardson fair draws crowds
The Richardson Community Fair runs June 11 to 15 with a second annual rocking chair marathon beginning June 12 at 7 p.m. Jaycee Chairman Cecil Roffall offers 300 for first, 100 for second, plus a bonus if the 127 hour world record is beaten. Last year’s winner lasted nearly 85 hours. Entrants must be at least five, provide their own rocker, and are housed in a tent at the Fairgrounds corner of Greenville and Arapaho. Grand jury takes no action in Richardson police case

Police roundup reports weekend burglary and minor injuries
