Richardson Jaycees Fair Set to Return in June
The Richardson Jaycees announce the Old Time Country Fair from June 8 to 12 at the east side of Green and north of Arapaho. Weekday hours are 6 to 10 p.m. with 1 to 10 p.m. on weekends. Highlights include a parade on June 11, Little Miss on June 9, Young Sir on June 10, an air show June 11 and 12, flea market and art fair June 11 and 12, and a gospel concert June 12.

Toll Bridge Bond Plan Clears Deck For Mountain Creek Route
The Texas Turnpike Authority approved sale of 9.2 million dollars in bonds to finance a two mile toll bridge linking Spur 303 between Dallas and Grand Prairie. Completion by January 1979 will shorten west side Mountain Creek Lake commutes to Dallas Baptist College by about 4.2 miles. Tolls will be 20 cents per axle and 40 cents for cars. serial bonds total 1.45 million with 7.07 percent interest, and term bonds totaling 7.75 million due 2007.
