Foggy roads cause five minor wrecks across cities

Police reported five major accidents on foggy wet streets. Mrs. Denzil Beavers of Garland and Mrs. Ann Bender of Carrollton had a collision at Belt Line Road and Lindale leaving minor injuries. Others involved Beauford Wall and Jackie Hinds in a head on crash at Custer Parkway and Canyon Creek Drive with minor injuries.

Shoplifter Loses Foot Race With Police

A 36 year old shoplifter fled from a store, but was overtaken by a patrolman in the Walnut Street median. He was charged with shoplifting over 50 dollars after attempting to steal an eight track stereo system and other items from the Mart at 1406 West Walnut. The suspect earned a free night in city jail as he was arrested.

Woman Missing From North Dallas Home

Carol Ann Ingraham, 58, brown haired, was reported missing from her North Dallas residence at 5151 Verde Valley Lane on November 11. Authorities described her as a security officer for Ifford Hill and a Texette at Texas Stadium. search efforts continue with limited details available.

Plan session on driving range permits tonight in Richardson

The Richardson City Plan Commission will hear requests for a driving range special permit near Belt Line and Plano Roads, a zoning adjustment near Greer and Interurban Streets, and a small zoning change north of Belt Line Road between Yale and Jupiter.
