Firehouse blaze ignited by gasoline during attempt to kindle stove
A 33 year old man, Kwaku Danso, sustained second degree burns over twenty percent of his body while trying to light a fire with gasoline in his Richardson residence. Fire damage reached thirty thousand dollars to the home and five thousand to belongings as firefighters battled flames in the den, kitchen, and garage. Police report a separate nighttime assault on a woman in the 400 block of Apollo, where she escaped after being grabbed from behind and her face scratched.

Richardson home building climbs past prior record
Richardson reports a 47 percent jump in total new residential construction in November from a year earlier with 102 permits issued.
